CSUMB offers the Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree for nurses who have completed an Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).  The degree (50 units) can be obtained in approximately 14 months of full time study, beginning in Summer term. Students transfer a maximum of 70 units from their prior ADN degree and prerequisite coursework. Courses are offered through Extended Education and are conducted in the evenings to accommodate working nurses. A second track, the "Collaboration" track, is available for qualified students who are on an ADN waitlist at a collaborating local Community College (MPC, Hartnell, Cabrillo or Gavilan). Classes are a blend of "live" and on-line formats.

There is no direct entry BSN program at this time; entering students must be graduates of an ADN program, or eligible to enter an ADN program with an appropriate waitlist number.
