Fulltime: Traditional Student Teaching Pathway
In the traditional multiple subjects credential program, you can earn your credential in two consecutive fulltime semesters if all academic and experiential prerequisites have been completed. The following would be a typical pathway that you might follow to complete the requirements as a fulltime student.
Semester/Stage I: 19 credits

Internship Pathway
The Internship pathway takes four continuous school terms, beginning in June of one summer and ending the end of July the following summer if all academic and experiential prerequisites have been completed. This pathway includes one course, the Teacher’s Academy, required by the state to prepare Intern teachers for some practical aspects of taking over their own classroom in the fall.
The following would be a typical pathway that you might follow to complete the requirements through the Internship pathway in that time frame. It is possible to ease the load on a given semester by extending your time in the program by one or two semesters.
First Summer: 9 credits
