Related Careers
Students earning their Multiple Subject credential at CSUMB have entered and achieved notable success in elementary and middle schools across the Tri-County area and the state. They have been particularly well prepared to work with the linguistically and culturally diverse student populations in the Central California region.
Many have also gone on to add a Special Education credential to their qualifications. This can be obtained through our Special Education program here at CSUMB. Many of the courses taken for the Multiple Subjects credential program also count towards the Special Education program.
Graduate Study
Many students earning their Multiple Subjects credential at CSUMB have attended a variety of graduate institutions for advanced study, incluing CSUMB. One can obtain the Special Education credential and a master’s degree simultaneously through our MAE program.
