Public Administration Emphasis

The Public Administration emphasis orients students to basic fundamental principles and practices of public and nonprofit administration, focusing on the essential elements of program planning, design and evaluation, public budgeting, community economic development and applications of technology in the public and nonprofit sectors.

  • CHHS 422: Program Planning (2 units)
  • CHHS 432: Program Evaluation (2 units)
  • And choose one of the following electives:

  • CHHS 442: Community Econ Devel Policy (4 units)
  • CHHS 452: Tech in Public/Nonprofit (4 units)

Social Work
