Students express themselves artistically in at least one major performance area at a level appropriate for the particular music emphasis.

- MPA 415: Performance Study Advanced (1 units)
- MPA 410: Instrumental Music (1 units)
- Complete at least two courses from the following
- MPA 309: Global Percussion (1 units)
- MPA 310: Gospel Choir (2 units)
- MPA 320: Chorale (2 units)
- MPA 330: Voice Training (2 units)
- MPA 332: Voice Training II (2 units)
- MPA 340: Music Prod & Artistic Dev (2 units)
- MPA 345: Improvisation (2 units)
- MPA 350: Advanced Performing Band (1 units)
- MPA 405: Ensembles I (1 units)
- MPA 406: Ensembles II (1 units)
- MPA 420: Advanced Voice Ensemble (1 to 2 units)
- MPA 310 and 320 can not be taken to fulfill an MLO if it is part of your concentration. Please see concentration requirements below to see if applicable to your course of study.
