Prerequisites for Admission

1. CSUMB application on file in CSUMB Admissions & Records with official sets of all transcripts
   
2. Multiple Subject Teacher Credential Program Application on file in Credentials Office with official sets of all transcripts
   
3. Two or three letters of recommendation from persons who have seen you teaching or working with culturally diverse children
   
   Letters should be mailed directly to:

   Seaside, CA 93955
   
4. CBEST taken
   
   Attach original test results or copy of Emergency Permit.

5. CSET passed, all 3 subtests
   Attach original test results.

6. Coursework or life experience providing knowledge of people with cultural or linguistic background different from the applicant's (see FAQ's sheet)
   
7. Fulfilled U.S. Constitution requirement
   
8. Fulfilled foreign language requirement
