Student Housing & Residential Life

On-campus housing is a vital part of the educational experience at CSUMB. Freshman and sophomore students are required to live on campus but we can accommodate all student class levels. We offer several types of on-campus housing. Traditional halls, suites, apartments, graduate student, and family housing units meet the varying needs of our student population. All of our residential communities are convenient to the main campus area.

In order to qualify to live on campus you must be a matriculated student working toward a degree. You must be fully enrolled each semester in 12 undergraduate units, 8 graduate units , or at least two master's level courses in the teacher education programs. Meal plans are required when living in main campus student housing.
