Extended Education provides educational programs and experiences to CSUMB matriculated and non-matriculated students on and off campus.

Extended Education works to make learning opportunities available to meet the needs of working adults and members of the surrounding communities pursuing personal interests through university study.  Students can take individual courses on or off campus or online.  Earn a degree, certificate or earn certificates of participation (CEUs-Continuing Education Units). The University is continually developing new courses and programs to serve the needs of CSUMB students and community members. See our website for more information.

Open University enables members of the community to take regular degree track course(s) offered at the University on a space-available basis and with the Instructor’s approval. Through the Open University registration process, you do not have to apply to the University or enroll in a degree program. Simply attend the first day of class, obtain the instructor’s signature on your registration form, pay your fees and complete the registration process at the Campus Service Center. See our website for more information.
