Graduates who have completed the Human Development minor in conjunction with a CSUMB major have entered and achieved notable success in the following careers: elementary education ~ secondary education ~ childcare ~ social work ~ guidance counseling ~ coaching ~ special education ~ recreation services ~ senior services.
Students may also be eligible to apply some HDEV courses for the Child Development Permit, Assistant Teacher, School Age emphasis or higher. Students should contact their county of residence Office of Education to evaluate their eligibility.
