This pathway is intended for incoming Freshmen students, majoring in WLC with an Empasis in Spanish Language and Culture, who come with 2 years of high school Spanish language study. With such study, the student should be eligible to begin at the 102 level. Please consult with a WLC advisor for more information. If a student chooses to begin Spanish at the 101-level, the model below may need to be extended. WLC offers an online Spanish language placement test.

WLC encourages our majors to participate in a study abroad experience while you’re at CSUMB and we have several approved programs. Please consult an advisor to work this valuable experience into your learning pathway.
