Because we have built our academic programs on an outcomes-based education model, you have lots of latitude to design an Individual Learning Plan to achieve your personal target outcomes while also satisfying University Learning Requirements, Graduation Learning Outcomes, and Major Learning Outcomes. Given that, you should consider the following pathways only as possibilities.
These pathways serve as tools, not prescribed programs of study. Before enrolling, you can use them to get a feel for what you can do in this program. After enrolling, you and your advisors can use them as a starting point for building your personalized outcomes-based ILP. These pathways assume readiness on the part of the student to take college level writing and math. If the student needs more preparatory courses, the models below may need to be extended. Also, since there is room for adjustment in this pathway, it is essential that a student seek an advisor at the outset to help set up a reasonable plan.
WLC encourages our majors to participate in a study abroad experience while you’re at CSUMB and we have several approved programs. Please consult an advisor to work this valuable experience into your learning pathway.
