The learning philosophy of MPA promotes pluralism, teamwork, collaboration, and flexibility. Students are expected to learn fundamental skills of listening, recording, expressing, interpreting, and relating the critical understanding of sound and movement to the social environment.

I really dig the class size! My smallest class has had seven people and my largest has had 35. It's nothing like other universities. All my instructors know my name and we have class discussions on a daily basis. I also really like the music department. All the instructors are talented musicians, and I love getting the chance to work and interact with them.
