(NOTE: /L following a course number denotes that both a 3-credit course and an associated 1-credit lab must be taken.)
LO 1 Knowledge, Practices and Perspectives in Health and Wellness ~ Students understand the fundamental principles and issues common to the field of health and wellness, including nutrition, fitness and stress management
- Complete one of the following:
KIN 363: Human Sexuality; KIN 365: Models & Dimension of Wellness; KIN 461/L: Effectively Manage Stress
LO 2 Diversity and Multiculturalism ~ Students understand and appreciate the aspects of social identity (i.e. race and gender) and the role that social oppression (i.e. racism, sexism and disability oppression) plays in the health and wellness of culturally diverse populations
- Complete one of the following:
KIN 364: Ancestral Well-being & Healing; KIN 368: Holistic Health & Wellness; CHHS 360
LO 3 Collaboration ~ Students work in teams, across disciplines and cultures, to contribute to the development of healthy communities
- Complete one of the following:
