Tutorial Services

Writing

Would you like individual assistance getting started, brainstorming ideas, citing sources or revising and editing a rough draft? Writing tutors are available to work with you at every step of the writing process. In collaboration with the University Writing Program, we offer specialty services such as the ACCESS Language Development Program, and Senior Capstone writing support.

Math

Our tutors are highly experienced and trained to help you become successful in the areas of mathematics and statistics. Get additional support by using our drop in study hall hours when mathematics and statistics tutors are available; you may also schedule an appointment with a tutor for one on one support.

Science

We offer peer tutor support in chemistry, physics, biology, and other science courses. Study groups and individual sessions are available.

Language

Our tutors offer language support in Spanish and American Sign Language (ASL). Tutors are available to meet with students in study groups, individual semester long sessions (based on tutor availability), and drop in study hall.

Technology

We offer support in the Tech Tools and Internet Literacy courses as well as help with multimedia software. Tutoring services are designed to assist the beginner as well as the intermediate level learner.
