Students earning their ELA Single Subject credential at CSUMB have entered and achieved notable success as high school and middle school (grades 6-12) teachers. They have been particularly well prepared to work with linguistically and culturally diverse student populations.
Graduate Study
Many students earning their Single Subject credential at CSUMB have attended a variety of graduate institutions, including CSUMB, for advanced study. Our Master of Arts in Education program engages practicing teachers in action research projects in their own schools.
