Students entering CSUMB as Freshman or Lower Division Transfer Students with fewer than 30 units are required to complete First Year Seminar. CSIT majors should take a CSIT-specfic FYS100-T (6 units), which also fulfills the Tech/Info ULR (4 of the 6 units are allocated to the Tech/Info ULR below). |
The State of California requires completion of a 48 unit General Education program which includes a minimum of 9 upper division GE semester units taken no sooner than the term in which the student achieves upper division status (60+ units). At CSUMB, these GE courses are identified as ULRs. Courses that meet ULR and major requirements are indicated by *. While these courses satisfy two or more requirements, course units are allocated in the major section only. |
