Veteran ServicesCalifornia State University, Monterey Bay works closely with veterans of the American Armed Services to provide a seamless transition to higher education at our campus. We provide VA Educational Benefits Certification as well as admissions information and academic counseling assistance to help you achieve your higher education goals. VA Educational Benefit Certification at CSUMBIf you are a veteran, reservist or dependent of a disabled or deceased veteran you should visit the registrar's office and ask to speak to a VA Benefits Counselor about Montgomery GI Bill benefits and enrollment certification. Our counselors can answer questions about the variety of VA benefit classifications, the application process, current benefits payments, eligibility standards and the enrollment certification process. If you are planning to attend CSUMB, you should contact a Veterans Benefits Counselor before the beginning of your first semester to be advised on how to file for benefits. As a continuing student with VA benefit eligibility, you will need to submit a VA Enrollment Certification Request form as soon as you have finalized your registration each semester in order to ensure that there is no break in benefits. Visit the VA Benefits Counselor in the Office of the Registrar. Drop-in counseling hours are posted on the Office of the Registrar website. To schedule an appointment you can either call 831-582-3085 or send an email request directly to the counselors at: Veteran_Services@CSUMB.edu Helpful Internet LinksClick the catalog link here to view a current listing of CSUMB Undergraduate Degree Programs and course pathway options.
