Human Development Minor ~ Learning EnvironmentYou will engage in a variety of learning experiences. Direct instruction, individual assignments and group work allow you to formulate an understanding of applied topics, and analyze and critique general theory in relation to local situations. You will experience a variety of media, practice developing professional strategies and engage in problem solving. The rich cultural life of the diverse communities nearby extends and enriches the course curriculum. Learning outcomes are focused on applied, practical learning. Students are able to successfully advocate for status of children, adolescents, adults and families. Students develop expertise in Human Development useful in a variety of settings. |
