LO 1 Knowledge and Perspectives in Sport Management and/or Athletic Coaching ~ students understand the fundamental principles and issues common to the field of sport management or athletic coaching (depending on selected track), including program design and management, legal issues in sport, finance and fundraising, sport promotion and marketing, training, recruiting, and technique and skill analysis

LO 2 Diversity and Multiculturalism ~ students understand the aspects of social identity (i.e. race, gender) and the role of social oppression (i.e. racism, sexism, disability oppression), power relations, and equity in the dynamic of sport from a management, participant, coaching, and spectator perspective
