Public Policy, Interdisciplinary M.A. ~ Overview

In collaboration with the Panetta Institute, MPP provides an excellent foundation of knowledge and skills needed to address community needs through local, regional, and statewide policy. The program is designed for mid-career professionals working in the public, nonprofit, or private sectors, and for recent bachelor’s degree holders with some professional experience. MPP students develop competencies in analyzing, designing, and advocating public policies that:

  • Promote civic responsibility of all sectors.
  • Improve government quality and responsiveness.
  • Empower citizens to work for social justice.
  • Lead to actions that optimize individual, family, and community health and wellbeing.
