The College of Extended Education and International Programs (EEIP) represents the California State University, Monterey Bay as a self-supported interdisciplinary college that aims to foster a more global and interconnected campus. It does so by strategically partnering with university, community, educational, business, and international allies.

The college broadens academic access to regional, national, and international audiences by offering a diverse range of undergraduate and graduate degrees, professional development courses, and a wide array of international education programs.

Extended Education

Extended Education offers diverse academic degree and certificate programs, extending the academic offerings of the university in a flexible and dynamic way, thanks to its financially self-supported model.

The college also works to meet the educational needs of working and retired adults, and non-matriculated students of all ages. Students can take courses on campus, online, or at local partnership facilities year-round to earn certificates and/or continuing education units.

International Programs

The International Programs office serves the university and international community by providing support services to a large population of international students and scholars. International students are fully integrated into campus life through a variety of programs, including short-term English language programs, semester- and year-long study abroad, and full degree options.

In addition, International Programs facilitates international education opportunities to CSUMB students and faculty, promoting an enriched understanding of global affairs and ideas throughout the university. EEIP’s reach expands across 6 continents in more than 50 countries, engaging global partners to accomplish CSUMB's institutional objectives and realize its global potential.
