The College of Education offers the Preliminary Multiple Subject Credential program; the Preliminary Single Subject Credential program in English, Foreign Language, Math, Science, and History-Social Science; the Preliminary Education Specialist Mild to Moderate, the Preliminary Education Specialist Moderate to Severe, and the Masters of Arts in Education with an emphasis in Curriculum and Instruction or in Special Education.
All credential programs have the English Learner Authorization (CLAD) infused in their preliminary programs. Other certification authorizations include Behavior Analysis and the Autism Spectrum Disorder Added Authorization.
The Single Subject and Special Education credential programs offer the traditional and intern pathway. The Multiple Subject program includes the Liberal Studies Integrated credential program pathway. Both Multiple Subject and Single Subject programs offer all courses as a cohort for full-time candidates. Both programs for the Education Specialist credential offer all courses for part-time or full-time candidates, with or without a base credential (Multiple or Single Subject). Courses are offered face to face, hybrid and online.
