The B.A. in Environmental Studies is designed for students who are interested in understanding environmental issues and the interactions of people with their environment, or in educating others about the environment. The major integrates science and social science to prepare students for a wide range of possible careers. The Environmental Education concentration provides a combination of natural history expertise, technical skills, and educational theory and practice. The Environmental Science for Sustainable Communities concentration offers flexibility for students to develop expertise in within a range of diverse disciplines such as disciplines Environmental Science, Geospatial Analysis, Natural History, Ethics, Social Sciences, Community Leadership, and Environmental History.
