In collaboration with the Panetta Institute, the MPP program provides an excellent foundation of knowledge and skills needed to address community needs through local, regional, statewide, national, and international public policy. The program is designed for mid-career professionals working in the public, nonprofit, or private sectors, and for recent bachelor's degree holders with some professional experience. Evening class hours allow people working during the day to participate.
MPP students develop competencies in analyzing, designing, and advocating public policies that:
- Promote civic responsibility of all sectors.
- Improve government quality and responsiveness.
- Empower citizens to work for social justice.
- Lead to actions that optimize individual, family, and community health and wellbeing.
