Faculty, staff and peer mentors work collaboratively to support and guide you through the curriculum and requirements. More specifically, faculty members review your academic plans and provide mentorship to help you position yourself to achieve your career objectives. The Liberal Studies advising coordinator, a trained specialist, will guide you throughout the advising process, and work with you one-on-one to develop an Individual Learning Plan that outlines how you will achieve the Major Learning Outcomes. Student peer mentors provide experienced advice on completing graduation and degree requirements.
The Liberal Studies Advising Center serves as a one-stop-shop to answer questions about the major and how to prepare for entrance into a multiple subjects teaching credential program.
