Because we have built our academic programs on an outcomes-based education model, you have latitude in designing an Individual Learning Plan to achieve your personal target outcomes while also satisfying University Learning Requirements, Graduation Learning Outcomes and Major Learning Outcomes. Given that, you should consider the following pathways only as possibilities.

These pathways serve as tools, not prescribed programs of study. Before enrolling, you can use them to get a feel for what you can do in this program. After enrolling, you and your advisors can use them as a starting point for building your personalized outcomes-based ILP.

*BUS 372 replaces BUS 309 for Hotel/Resort Management concentration students.

**BUS 373 and BUS 471 are offered only in the spring semester.

The purpose of the degree pathway is to serve as a guide for planning one’s academic coursework required to complete a specific major semester by semester. The roadmap is subject to change and is NOT to be considered a replacement for advisement with an academic advisor. Students who choose majors that require a minor should take this into consideration when customizing their own academic plan.

Special Note:

1) Language Requirement: Students will need to acquire language proficiency through the third level (101, 102, and 201). Students with proficiency in a language (whether from coursework completed in high school or fluency) should consult with the World Languages and Cultures Department for either placement levels or to assess out of language requirements.
