Students entering CSUMB as Freshman or Lower Division Transfer Students with fewer than 30 units are required to complete First Year Seminar. ITCD majors needing FYS are advised to take FYS 100-T (6 units), which also fulfills the Tech/Info ULR (4 of the 6 units are allocated to the Tech/Info ULR below).
