If you are attending a Community College with the aspirations of transferring to CSUMB in the near future, please consider contacting one of our professors and discussing how you should best prepare yourself.
Complete all General Education Requirements.
Complete our statistics requirement by taking an Introductory Statistics course at the community college that fulfills your math requirement.
Complete all or part of the three semesters of foreign language required of transfer students.
Complete introductory courses in principles of economics, including microeconomics and macroeconomics.
Learn basic computing skills, including Internet use
If you intend to minor in anthropology, sociology, psychology or social work, complete the introductory course for those minors.
If you intend to follow the teaching credential pathway, complete U.S. History (both halves of the sequence), one standard American Government course, and at least one semester of a second language.
