Real-world experiences in internships allow you to work on Capstone projects at community-based organizations and develop a professional portfolio and network for future employment.

Innovative and interactive classroom exercises include team-based assignments, student-policy debates, case-study discussions, and guest lectures by health and human service professionals and policy experts.

You will focus on developing social change advocacy skills as informed, responsible, compassionate, and civically engaged professionals.

You will create a dialogue of conscience with our diverse community of students, practitioners, clients, and educators while discussing a broad range of social, political, and cultural perspectives on current health and social issues.

You will enjoy social and professional events and activities with faculty, staff, alumni, and community professionals that foster professional development.
