The obvious things that first attracted me to MLML were location and a great reputation in the field of marine science. The program is very field-oriented, which I really love, and close bonds are easily formed between students and professors. There are so many resources, not only at MLML but in the surrounding area-it's a wonderful place to study, gain great experience, and have the opportunity to work with the top of the field. The aim is to educate the "pioneers" of tomorrow and I am fortunate to be a part of the program!
