Marine Science, M.S. ~ OverviewMoss Landing Marine Laboratories administers the Masters of Science program for seven northern California CSU consortium campuses, of which CSUMB is the closest (located 20 minutes away). You can enroll in the MLML program directly through CSUMB. MLML offers undergraduate and graduate courses, and research programs in all disciplines of marine science including marine ecology; ecology of marine fishes, birds, mammals, and invertebrates; marine botany; oceanography; marine geology; marine chemistry; and marine biogeochemistry. The master's program provides the opportunity for you to acquire practical and theoretical education in the marine sciences through extensive course, field, shipboard, and laboratory work to prepare you for a career as a marine specialist, scientist, and teacher.
