The CSUMB Strategic Plan makes a strong commitment to Student Learning and Support for Learning by identifying them as two of four themes guiding university operations. Moreover, CSUMB prides itself in being a student-centered university, and was lauded by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges accreditation team for standing out in that regard.
