Candidates earning their Mild/Moderate and Moderate/Severe Level I and II Education Specialist Credentials at CSUMB have achieved notable success as special education teachers in resource programs, special day classrooms, county classrooms, full inclusion classrooms, and a variety of other educational settings and capacities. Since many students with disabilities participate in general education classrooms, teachers holding these credentials are well suited for collaborating with general education partners.

Graduate Study

Candidates earning their Mild/Moderate Level I and Level II or their Moderate/Severe Level I Education Specialist Credentials at CSUMB have attended a variety of graduate institutions including University of California campuses; Chapman; University of San Francisco; Harvard; St. Mary's; Pepperdine; Brown; Maryland; and University of Washington.
