Service learning gives you the opportunity to work with public and private agencies on projects that integrate your language skills with community needs.
Opportunities to study abroad, including the CSU International Programs and a working exchange program with Obirin University in Japan, immerse you in the language and culture of your major.
Online learning opportunities through linked universities, distance learning, and the CSU Virtual Language Learning project give you the opportunity to study languages and cultures not taught directly on the CSUMB campus.
Our facilities include three digital language-learning labs (Mac, PC, and portable), a multimedia library for language and culture learning materials, and a faculty development space.
The WLC language-learning labs allow you to check out digital still and video cameras for projects related to WLC courses and events.
