Looking back I realize I was also way more prepared for the CSET and the CBEST because of CSUMB's Liberal Studies major. The classes required teach you everything you need to know for the tests, specifically the CSET.

The department boasts a closeknit group of professors from wide-ranging backgrounds and specialty areas who do applied work in the local community and bring that depth of experience into their classes. As I finish my third week of the master’s program at UCSC, I thought I should tell you how well prepared I have been for the coursework here.
