Dan Johnson joined California State University, Monterey Bay in January 2002. His areas of responsibility include financial services (budget, accounting, purchasing and contracts, treasury, investments, and risk management), campus planning and development, facilities services and operations, utilities and utilities distribution, human resources, and public safety. He is also President of the CEHI Foundation Board, Secretary/Treasurer of the CSUMB Foundation Board, and Chair of the Foundation Investment Committee.
Mr. Johnson’s professional history includes 15years of service in private industry and 24 years of service in California public universities and colleges including UC Santa Cruz; West Valley/Mission Community College District, San Jose State University, and CSUMB.
Mr. Johnson earned his M.B.A from University of Phoenix and B.A. in Business Management from St. Mary’s College in Moraga, California.
