All students in the CSU system must demonstrate competency in writing skills as a requirement for graduation. CSUMB refers to this as the Graduate Writing Assessment Requirement. You satisfy GWAR by achieving a grade of "C" or better in one of the approved courses. Additional information on currently available ways to meet this graduation requirement may be obtained from the Universitywide Writing Program or Admissions & Records.
