Courses currently approved to fulfill the two parts of the Science ULR are listed below along with the timeframe during which each has been approved. Successful completion of a course within the timeframe indicated fulfills the indicated part of the ULR.
To ensure continued alignment between courses and learning outcomes, the Science ULR learning community reevaluates course approvals regularly. Though most courses listed here will continue to be approved beyond the timeframe indicated, you should verify that a course satisfies part of the ULR on the Banner student information system at the time of registration. Courses no longer satisfying part of the ULR, can be viewed in the archive of previously approved courses.
The listing of a course as approved does not indicate that it will be offered in any given semester. Check current offerings on the CSUMB.EDU/schedule website or check the course descriptions to see how frequently a course is offered.
NOTE: Courses listed below with BIO, GEOL, and PHYS prefixes were formerly listed with an ESSP prefix. The course number has remained consistent throughout the approved years. Thus, the approval range for those courses includes the course number with the ESSP prefix through Spring 2005, and the course number with the current prefix from that point forward.
