If you transferred into CSUMB as an AA-T-certified student in Child and Adolescent Development, you must complete the following courses for the bachelor's degree in Human Development & Family Studies. If you are unsure about your transfer status, please talk to an advisor.

Complete all of the following core courses:
Complete nine (9) units total from the Phase-specific coursework in List A and List B:
Complete a minimum of six (6) units from the following Development in Context coursework:
Complete a minimum of six (6) units from the following Family Studies coursework:
Complete a minimum of four (4) units from the following Interdisciplinary Health Science coursework:
To complete the requirements of the degree, students must complete:
*Students who demonstrate language proficiency through the 201 level and who do not require any additional language courses may choose to complete a 12 unit minor of their choice.
Students who may only need one or two language courses to satisfy the requirement may select any amount of elective coursework that will result in the successful completion of 60 units.
