Multiple Subject Credential ~ Typical Pathways
In the traditional multiple subjects credential program, you can earn your credential in two consecutive fulltime semesters if all academic and experiential prerequisites have been completed. The following would be a typical pathway that you might follow to complete the requirements as a fulltime student.

ED 538 Technology in the classroom, Level I (2 credits)
ED 601 Stage I student teaching and seminar (3 credits)
ED 609 Elementary math methods (3 credits)
ED 611 Teaching and learning (3 credits)
ED 612 Pedagogy for linguistically and culturally diverse students (3 credits)
ED 616 Language and literacy development across the curriculum I (3 credits)
ED 603 Stage II student teaching and seminar (6 credits
ED 608 Science and health methods for K-8 classrooms (3 credits)
ED 615 Social studies and visual & performing arts methods for K-8 classrooms (3 credits)
ED 617 Language and literacy development across the curriculum II (3 credits
SPED 560 Inclusionary practices for students with special needs (3 credits)
Part-Time: CTIP
The CTIP program takes four continuous school terms (including summers) if all academic and experiential prerequisites have been completed. You may need more time.
