First Year Seminar sections are taught in technology-enhanced classrooms to support your learning.

Professors encourage active and collaborative learning. In First Year Seminar classes, students communicate in small and large groups, make presentations, read and write using university level critical thinking and analytical skills. Students and instructors work collaboratively. This class encourages students to explore their values and think about their identity as a learner, community member, and citizen.
