Upon entering the program, each student is assigned a faculty advisor. Your advisor will work closely with you and provide most of your academic support as you progress through the program, right up through your Capstone event. In addition, when you are placed in schools, a college supervisor will help guide the development of your teaching skills along with your school-based mentor teacher. Finally, the university's Academic Skills Achievement Program (ASAP) is available to credential program students needing additional out-of-class assistance with the development of effective communication skills.
