Once a minor is declared, three courses are required covering both theory and practical implications. These can come from the following content offerings:

  • Effectively Dealing with Modern Day Stress
  • Fundamentals and Issues involved in Human Sexuality
  • Life Long Nutrition/ Prevention Foundations
  • Patterns and Dynamics of Relationships
  • Behavior Change and Support Strategies
  • Multicultural Ancestral Views of Well-Being and Healing

You will find all the official information about the minor using the left-side navigation on this page.

"My experience of seeing students develop through this minor is that it enables a depth of maturity and skills in personal well-being and self-development which is directly applicable to their chosen careers.  People who want to work with others in a variety of settings such as schools, public organizations, social work, and business gain not only rich content, but also  can apply  their work and facilitate behavior change .  All of this leads to higher levels of well-being and community responsibility."
