Students earning their Mild/Moderate Level I and II Education Specialist Credentials at CSUMB have achieved notable success as resource specialists, special day class teachers, and  special education teachers in a variety of educational settings. Since many students with disabilities participate in general education classrooms, teachers holding these credentials are well suited for collaborating with general education partners.

Graduate Study

Students earning their Mild/Moderate Level I and Level II or their Moderate/Severe Level I Education Specialist Credentials at CSUMB have attended a variety of graduate institutions including University of California campuses; Chapman; University of San Francisco; Pepperdine; Brown; Maryland; and University of Washington.

They have entered and achieved success in the following fields of graduate study: psychology; sociology; child development; communicative sciences and disorders; occupational and physical therapy; and human communication.
