Teledramatic Arts and Technology, B.A. ~ Distinguishing Features

Service Learning courses partner with social and cultural organizations, and  local schools so you can work on real-world projects.

Professional and industry guest speakers in classes, workshops, and lecture series bring their knowledge and experience to campus.

Internships with local organizations, companies, and festivals provide learning experiences and career development opportunities .

Independent study opportunities to work with faculty on their research and creative projects provide one-on-one mentoring experiences and advanced learning.

Inventive models explore cross-disciplinary content, production, and distribution, e.g. Global WakeUp Call produced with a live studio audience and streamed live online with email and call-in audience participation.

Innovative learning experiences include GPS-enabled wireless and mobile media development in collaboration with the CSUMB Wireless Education Technology Center; game models for strategic thinking in collaboration with the Naval Postgraduate School; motion graphics based public service announcements for local PBS affiliates; and video documentary PSAs for cultural organizations such as California Rural Legal Assistance, Pacific Grove Museum, Steinbeck Museum, and Monterey Maritime Museum.
