Broad-based current and practical knowledge of kinesiology, wellness, and human performance and their applications in the field

Faculty mentoring and support within the core curriculum and focused guidance within concentrations

Collaboration with other CSUMB programs to prepare students for leadership roles within their professional fields

Service learning and internship possibilities that meet both lower-division and upper-division service learning requirements, provide hands-on learning, and facilitate networking in the field

Expanded curriculum and innovative pedagogy in sport and health ethics, leadership, research methodology, and multicultural issues across the lifespan
