Welcome to Visual and Public Art  (VPA)

“Art is a social network”

At VPA we support your individual growth in the visual arts, within a framework of your belonging to a larger social context. You will experience art as it serves to define your own values and ideas and also that of other cultures and times. The program is about developing studio, museum and teaching skills, building communities through arts actions and collaborations, and transforming environments. Your professors are recognized and celebrated artists and scholars in their fields. In our small classes, you’ll benefit from individual mentoring and from instructors’ firsthand experience and connections to the contemporary art world.
