Description
Multicultural Health Education & Promotion: Provides students with an opportunity to develop an understanding of current health education theory and intervention models for promoting health and preventing disease in diverse population groups. Improves students' understanding, skills, and effectiveness in planning health promotion and disease prevention programs across a variety of situations, settings, and populations. Provides students with an opportunity to develop an understanding of the dimensions of women's health through a comparative and historical analysis of women's health status throughout the developing world and in the US.
