Japanese Culture and History Minor ~ Learning Environment
The Japanese language and area studies community offers an active and welcoming academic environment. It includes other students, language facilitators, faculty members and exchange students from CSUMB's Japanese sister universities, J.F. Oberlin University, Chuo University, and Nagoya University of Foreign Studies. Each year, several Japanese major and minor students visit and study in Japan. They return with firsthand experience that further enriches the community.
