Kinesiology B.S. ~ Learning Environment
Here at California State University, Monterey Bay, we are lucky to have the wonderful Monterey Peninsula and the beautiful Central Coast as our outdoor classroom in addition to our campus-based classrooms and lab instruction.
The coastal mountains of Big Sur, the Pacific Ocean, the hiking and biking trails, the Salinas Valley, Elkhorn Slough, and the Tri-County region are our learning playground.
Along with intensive, energizing work in campus classrooms and in the lab, Kinesiology students learn by actively providing our community with the resources and knowledge necessary to make healthy lifestyle and behavioral choices.
Our learning environment includes strong partnerships with local schools, businesses, nonprofit, and government organizations. Our courses feature experience-based learning opportunities throughout the region.
CSUMB is largely a residential campus. The Kinesiology Department emphasises small class sizes to enhance student learning and strong student-instructor interaction.
